Happy Mother’s Day to the expectant mothers, carrying that promise of new life and joy.

Happy Mother’s Day to veteran mothers whose children are not yelling, “Mama!” every few minutes and have passed the point where you are their whole world.

Happy Mother’s Day to mothers with an empty nest who are sorting out life now that your children are grown up.

Happy Mother’s Day to anyone trying to conceive.

Happy Mother’s Day to bereaved mothers, whether due to miscarriage, infant death, or if you watched your child grow before they passed. Their life still mattered and so does your grief.

Happy Mother’s Day to mothers of adopted children who chose this so important role for a child who needed love and care.

Happy Mother’s Day to single mothers who take on the role of both parents

Happy Mother’s Day to mothers with a partner, because it’s not a competition of “who has it more difficult.”

Happy Mother’s Day to stepmothers who came into a child’s life a little later, whether the child lives with you fulltime or you see them only occasionally.

Happy Mother’s Day to mothers of only children and to mothers of multiple children.

Happy Mother’s Day to mothers of pets because your babies are special to you too!

Happy Mother’s Day to women who have stepped into to a child’s life to play a part of mother—aunts, grandmothers, older sisters, caring friends.
